Kimberley Brian Griffin

Kimberley Brian Griffin, a long time Stamford resident, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 28, 2023 in Stamford, Connecticut. He was born on February 1, 1961, in Portchester, New York to the late Clarence and Marion Griffin. Kim was a hard-working man who enjoyed working with his hands. Whether it was sanding floors, painting a house, or mowing lawns, he was always hard at work. A handyman second to none. And boy did he love to eat! Give him a full plate of meat, with a side of meat, with more meat to spare but hold the veggies! Birthday time meant a 3-layer coconut lemon cake which he was not too keen on sharing. And let’s not forget his love for that special tray of lasagna or pot o’chili! He was an active member of “The Fellas”,and would often be found in the kitchen frying up the fish for one of their annual events. Anyone who knew Kim knows how much he loved his children and they were always his first concern. Kim was a good brother! If you ever needed help with anything, he was quick to offer his help with no questions asked. And no matter what he may have been going through personally, he never failed to ask how you were feeling; and to tell everyone that I said “hello”. Kim is survived by his wife, Jasmine Bradley-Griffin; daughters Minuette Griffin (Leo); Addison Griffin; bonus sons Brett Vaughn, Don-Jakaree, and grandchildren Amina Rios, Rodsir Vaughn, and Amiyah Vaughn. Left behind to cherish his memories are his 6 siblings: Cheryl LeGrand of Charlotte, NC; Clarence Griffin, Jr. (Patricia) of Moore, OK; Keith Griffin (Anita) of Stamford, CT; Pamela Jordan of Bridgeport, CT; Kevin Griffin (Sharrie) of Charlotte, NC; Paula Carter of Raleigh, NC; his 3 aunts: Joyce Griffin of Stamford, CT; Aunt Leona Waller of Portchester, NY; and Aunt Carolyn Francis of Franklinton, NC. Fond memories of Kim to be shared by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and loved ones. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00PM - 5:00PM followed by a service of celebration at 5:00PM at Graves Medley Funeral Services, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, CT. A Private interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery.
