Nancy Alice Williams

February 27, 1935 - February 27, 2022

Nancy Alice Williams, age 87, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2022 at St. Camillus Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 27, 1935 in Wadesboro, North Carolina to the late Alice Smith. She retired from Stamford Hospital after many years of service. Mrs. Williams was a dedicated mother and shared her love in various ministry capacities at Wilson Memorial Church of God In Christ. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter; Mary Dolores Smith-Williams, three nieces; Cindy Smith, Alicia Smith and Kitchawa Roulac, two nephews; Shawn (Smith) Roulac-Davis and Tharon Smith, two great nieces; Kimiko Griffin and Yalaiya Griffin, three great nephews; Derrick Woods, Colby Smith and Caleb Smith, two sisters in law; Betty Smith and Glenda Roulac, five devoted cousins; Patricia Livingston, Brevard Smith, Jonathan Smith, Brittney Smith and Tom Smith. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her brother Joseph (Smith) Davis, two aunts Cora Colson and Hannah Ralph and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, followed by a service of celebration at 7:00 pm at Wilson Memorial COGIC, 164 Richmond Hill Ave., Stamford, CT., Bishop Charles H. Brewer, III officiating. Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
