Georgia Lee Sledge Georgia Lee Sledge, 87, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2019. She was born in Anderson, South Carolina on May 18, 1931 to the late Theodore Jones and Eliza Anderson Holmes. Mrs. Sledge was predeceased by her husband Louis Ronald Sledge, Sr. and son Louis Ronald Sledge, Jr. She retired from Clairol, Inc. after many years of service. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Glenda Sledge (Conrad); one son, Kevin Sledge (Bernadette); three grandchildren, one great-grandson, one sister-in-law, Audrey Sledge and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. followed by a service of celebration at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 29 Grove St., Stamford, CT with Rev. Dr. Boise Kimber officiating. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery. Services entrusted to Graves Medley Funeral Services.
