She also worked at the Smith House for several years and then settled as a childcare provider for many years. Carrie Dell was a special person to many. She loved children and spending time with her family. Carrie Dell is preceded in death by her mother Rosalee Rivers, her father Matthew Frazier both from Orangeburg; 3 Brothers; Matthew (Popcide) Rivers (Tanya), Gary Rivers, Lyndell (Bud) Parker. Carrie leaves to cherish her memories, 1 son; Robert D. Garrett (Lynn), 4 daughters; LaTeisha Elliott, LaKeisha Elliott (Troy), Thomasina Vaughn (Romeo),Tomeka Elliott, 5 sisters; Albertha Rivers, Mary Housey (Thomas), Patricia Ellington (Melvin), Rosemary Phelps (Nathaniel) and Lois Frazier, sister in laws: Liz Rivers and Gessie Parker, 2 brothers; Freddie Rivers (Mary) and Willie Rivers, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We lost the "Rock" of our family and she will be remembered as the light that touched and impacted everyone she encountered. Notice of Memorial Service to follow.
