OBITUARY Ms. Toni "Denise" Ruffin of Stamford, CT, peacefully departed this life on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Stamford Hospital at the age of 57. Denise was born on July 28th,1966, to the late Christopher Ruffin Sr. and Sarah E. Ruffin in Stamford, Connecticut. Denise was educated in the Stamford Public School system. She inherited her resilience and strong work ethic from her parents. Traits that would later be acknowledged as valuable assets during her tenure at Baby Toy Super Store and Pedigree Ski Shop. Denise, a vivacious and kind-hearted individual, cherished Sunday dinners with her family, fostering a spirit of unity and happiness. Her love for playing cards and talking junk showed her zest for life while demonstrating her ability to connect and build with others. Denise's greatest accomplishment was raising and supporting her four children and grandson. She dedicated her life to nurturing and pouring love into her family, ensuring their well-being and happiness. Denise possessed a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. With an open heart, and a giving spirit, she extended kindness and humor to all who knew her. Her infectious laughter and genuine warmth left a lasting mark on those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. The memory of Toni “Denise” Ruffin will be forever cherished by her loving family and countless friends. She will be deeply missed, and her life will continue to serve as an inspiration to all who know her. In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by. Campbell, Aunts: Esther Joseph (Dan), Ethel Davis (Robert), Marie (Nathaniel) Grant, Martha Thompson (Willie), Jane Smith (Arzel), Frances (Robert) Moss, Gertrude “Panky” Campbell. Her memories will be treasured by her family: John Winchester (Son), Corey Ruffin (Son), Ciara DeCausey (Daughter), Jaidyn “Mister” DeCausey (Son), Jeremiah Winchester (Grandson). Sister: Janet Whitaker (Joseph) of Middletown, DE. Brother: Christopher Ruffin Jr. (Renee) of Randallstown, MD, Nathaniel Ruffin (Shirley) of Stamford, CT, and Todd Ruffin of Stamford, CT. Aunt Peggy Ruffin, Aunt Annie Ruffin, Aunt Marjorie Ruffin, Aunt Brenda Campbell, Aunt Ann Campbell, Aunt Veronica Campbell, Aunt Vivian Powell (Paul), Uncle Larry C. Campbell, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April, 30, 2024 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM followed by a service of celebration at 1:00PM at Graves Medley Funeral Services, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, CT. Interment will be private.
