In Loving Memory: Missoule Gachlien It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Missoule Gachlien, a devoted follower of Christ, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. She left this world June 30th, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family, as she embarked on her final journey. She touched the lives of many with her vibrant spirit, unwavering strength, and profound love for her family and community. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we celebrate the indelible legacy she leaves behind. We take solace in knowing that she is now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Missoule Gachlein was born on January 6th, 1938 in Aquin, Haiti, where she grew up and cultivated a life filled with love, wisdom, and kindness. Missoule Gachlein grew up in a humble household, where she learned the values of resilience, compassion, and perseverance. She dedicated herself to serving God and living by His teachings. Her unwavering faith and devotion were evident in every aspect of her life. Family was the cornerstone of Missoule Gachlein. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Amelhomme Gachlein, and together they built a foundation of love and unity that inspired generations. As a mother, she provided unwavering support, guidance and unconditioned love to her children, instilling in them values that will carry on for years to come. Missoule Gachlein took immense joy in her role as a grandmother and aunt. Missoule Gachlein is survived by her two children, Sonia Jean-Simon and Michelet Simon; son in- law, Edouard Jean-Simon; six grandchildren, Deborah Delianne, Cassandra Deliane, Vladimir Simon, Laureen Simon, Kevin Simon, Gael Simon; four nieces, Mireille Simon, Eunide Simon, Evelyn Alizar, Jennifer Jean-Simon, her siblings; Marie Simon, Sauveur Simon, Elio Simon and Nelio Simon, and a host of dear friends. A memorial service celebrating Missoule Gachlein’s life and legacy will be held at Schilo French Seventh-Day Adventist Church on July 14th, 2023. Visitation 9:00AM – 10:00AM followed by a service of celebration at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
